The MGC Makeover Contest Winners
During the month of September we accepted nominations for our first My Girlfriend's Closet Fashion Makeover Contest. On October 4th, 2011 we announced our 3 MGC Makeover Contest Winners: Maxine Mastromarino, LeNelle Patrick and Christina Kodesh!! During the month of October, like Cinderella hanging out with her Fairy Godmother, these three lucky ladies received personal shopping appointment at My Girlfriend's Closet, a complete new outfit from MGC was selected for them, complete with shoes & jewelry; Hair Cut & Color from Shannel at Du Salon in Cary; Makeup by Holly (at her awesome studio here at MGC); and Professional Photo Shoot by Maxine Mastromarino of Maxibelle Photography!!

LeNelle Patrick – Timeless Glamour
LeNelle is wearing the NEW Mary Kay TimeWise Luminous-Wear liquid foundation and Mineral Powder to even out her skin tone. Her blue eyes look even bluer with a neutral eye color palette of Honey Spice, Hazelnut, and Chocolate Kiss Mineral Eye Colors, Deep Brown Eyeliner and Mary Kay’s NEW Lash-Love Mascara in Black. To complete her look, LeNelle is wearing a Neutral Lip Liner, Berry Kiss Crème Lipstick and Cream & Sugar Nourishine Lip Gloss. Bronzer and highlighting powder help contour her cheek bones and add warmth.
On her hair a ash golden base was used. The ends were kept lighter to give a dimensional, younger appearance and more tone to her skin. Her hair was cut shorter for better proportion to her body height, and then layered to give her face a more flattering oval shape.

Christina Kodesh – Easy Sophistication
Christina’s look begins with the NEW Mary Kay TimeWise Luminous-Wear liquid foundation topped with Mineral Powder and Cherry Blossom Cheek Color. Her brown eyes pop with Spun Silk, Lavender Fog, and Sweet Plum Mineral Eye Colors, Amethyst Eyeliner, and Mary Kay’s NEW Lash-Love Mascara in Black. Neutral Lipliner, Copper Star Crème Lipstick, and Sweet Raisin Nourishine Lip Gloss complete her sophisticated look.
To give multi tones to her hair several different colors were used including a neutral, brown gold & copper. Her hair was shortened & layered to accentuate her face structure and features.

Maxine Mastromarino – Relaxed & Refreshed
Maxine’s complexion is instantly evened out with the NEW Mary Kay TimeWise Luminous-Wear liquid foundation and Mineral Powder. Sunny Spice cheek color gives her cheek bones a healthy glow. Her eyes sparkle with Mary Kay’s NEW Crème Eye Color in Beach Blonde, and Mineral Eye Colors Crystalline and Hazelnut. Her eyes are lined with Deep Brown Eyeliner and finished with Mary Kay’s NEW Lash-Love Mascara in Black. Neutral Lipliner, Copper Star Crème Lipstick, and Berry Sparkle Nourishine Lip Gloss complete her look.
Maxine's hair makeover began by being given a blue neutral base to give her more peach tone to her skin. A few layers were added; the overall cut remained the same, and was styled differently to show versatility.
